The Mississippi Local Section of the American Chemical Society excitingly announces this 2021 Virtual Undergraduate Research Symposium. We hope this venue will allow undergraduate chemistry research students an opportunity to present their research at a professional conference amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Student presenters will register for the symposium at the link above. Students will then prepare 10 minute voice-over PowerPoints (.mp4 files) for submission. Submitted presentations will be uploaded to YouTube (unlisted) and displayed on this website for viewing. There will be a full page dedicated to showing all of these student presentation videos sortable by category and school. A panel of judges will view the videos and select a group of at least 5 winners. The winners will all receive a $50 award and will be invited to present their research live via Zoom during the Live Winners’ Presentations on April 20th.
