2025 Annual Banquet

3:30 – 7:30 P.M.

November 13th in Clinton, MS
Anderson Hall at Mississippi College

Doors open at 3:30. Poster session begins at 4:00.

If you are a student presenting a poster, abstract submission is part of the registration form. All banquet attendees, including students, need to register separately. Both undergrad and graduate students are encouraged to present during the poster session.

Officer Nominations

The Mississippi Local Section is now encouraging members to nominate another member or self-nominate to serve with the other Executive Officers in the following positions:

  • Chair-Elect*
  • Councilor**
  • Alternate Councilor**

Serving as Chair-Elect is a three-year commitment. We highly encourage nominations from industry or education institutions without current representation among the Executive Officers.

You must have served as an officer in an ACS local section to run for Councilor or Alternate Councilor

  • Chemist of the Year
  • High School Teacher of the Year
  • ACS Student Chapter of the Year
  • Johnnie-Marie Whitfield Service Award
